Thinking out of the box and acting agile
My work is driven by my conviction in the inherent potential of the African continent and its people, and the fight against racism. Before embarking on entrepreneurship, I earned degrees among others in political science or peace and security from the University of Hamburg and acquired extensive work experience in Africa and Europe, providing policy advice and consultancy services on regional security and development governance, sustainable economies and development. Today, I work as a consultant and entrepreneur to facilitate racial equity and promote circular economy, using African traditional know-how.
Pragmatic idealism and lifelong learning
Born in Burkina Faso, the desire to contribute to the human development in my continent has shaped my educational and professional path. I consider myself a lifelong learner and my hunger for more equitable, transparent and participatory decision-making has led me to challenge the status quo throughout my academic and practical training. I have been privileged to gain diverse experiences, including facing mistakes. I learned some life lessons the hard way and it is also these experiences that have made me the leader I am today.
Having been forced to experience discrimination and exclusion, I am a relentless advocate for the respect and inclusion of everyone who is being disadvantaged because of their origin and skin color. In all my projects, I implement a structural perspective and employ innovative and unconventional approaches to drive transformational change. My courage, foresight and unfailing instinct for trends allow me to see the best path forward. My agility, tenacity and belief in our shared humanity inspire me to move ahead even when faced with pushbacks.

My experience as African and Black founder in a European-dominated industry, combined with my various contributions as researcher and consultant spurred me to establish the concept MOA madeof.africa®.
Originally initiated in 2018, the MOA madeof.africa®, or MOA is a holistic conceptual design framework for diverse cross-sector initiatives, projects, programs and instruments
The starting point of the MOA Concept is the underlying principle that Black and African cultures, traditions, ingenuity and inventiveness as well as innovation and entrepreneurship endeavors should be recognized without being misused, without reproducing post-colonial language and or patterns of power and without derogatory handling. Therefore, the MOA concept is a conceptual framework for promoting and showcasing, advocating respect, generating equity for innovations, products, works and economic and scientific ventures designed, created, driven and sustained by African and Black people while protecting their originality.
All in all, through its various initiatives, projects, instruments and measures, the MOA madeof.africa® concept enables more transparency and greater participation for all. This is the only way to create a non-discriminatory, equitable and sustainable world for us all.
